Héctor Vera is the Managing Partner at Avera. He has more than 16 years of experience working at preeminent firms including EY and Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira in Madrid and at Barlow Lyde & Gilbert in London during which time he focused on  tax advice to private bankers, asset managers and individual clients and on providing tax and regulatory advice to major insurance companies.

Héctor has been included in the 2013 and 2014 in the prestigious publication Best Lawyers in the Spain edition.

He lectures in many seminars concerning taxation of financial products. He is a teacher in IE Law School and regularly contributes articles to specialized press.

Héctor speaks Spanish as his mother tongue and is fluent in English.
